Swedice Unveils First Modi Funtower at Recreation Park TerSpegelt

(‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH, NL) April 15, 2025 – On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Swedice proudly launched the very first Modi Funtower at Recreation Park TerSpegelt in Eersel, the Netherlands. This innovative attraction marks a major milestone in the ongoing development of modular slide concepts for the leisure industry. 

The Modi Funtower is a 9-meter-high tubing tower and part of the latest product line: Modislide. Designed to deliver a dynamic experience within a compact footprint, the attraction features six different descents and jumps, including multiple jump slides, a family slide, and a multi-height free fall — all offering a soft, safe landing on a BigAirBag®. 

At TerSpegelt, the attraction has been launched under the name TubbyJump and serves as a permanent, all-season crowd-pleaser. Thanks to its dry landing system, no water is required, making it accessible year-round regardless of weather conditions.

Modi Funtower Technical Specifications 

The Modi Funtower installed in Eersel includes the following components:

1. Jump Slides (2 units) 

• Length: 32 meters (104 ft, 11.84 in)  
• Height: 9 meters (29 ft, 6.3 in) 
• Estimated Hourly capacity: 257 people per hour (per slide) (total estimated hourly capacity 514 people per hour)  
• Landing: Airbag (14 x 12 meters) 

2. Family Slide 

• Length: 36 meters (118 ft, 1.32 in) 
• Track lengths are customizable — this setup includes a 36-metre track with a bunny hop hill for an extra thrilling experience. 
• Height: 6 meters (19 ft, 8.22 in)  
• Estimated Hourly capacity: 261 people per hour 

3. Jump Platforms (3 units) 

• Heights: 2, 4, and 6 meters (6.56, 13.12, 19 feet)  
• Landing: Base Jump Adventure Airbag (12 x 6 meters) 
• Estimated Hourly capacity: 240 people per hour
