On April 5, 2025, the very first Modi Funtower opened at Recreatiepark TerSpegelt<\/a>, an impressive attraction 9 meters high with six unique experiences for all ages.<\/p>\n\n

The Modi Funtower is part of our latest Modislide line<\/a> and is designed to meet the demand for modular and ready-to-use tubing attractions. What makes this attraction so special? The attraction requires no natural slope, making it suitable for any location. The perfect addition for locations where capacity and attraction value are important! <\/p>\n\n

At TerSpegelt, everything revolves around guest experience. The recreation park in Noord-Brabant was looking for a way to enrich the existing offering with something unique that would appeal to both children and parents. Not with the intention of suddenly attracting more visitors, but to keep the campsite well-filled throughout the season and give guests a reason to keep coming back. <\/p>\n\n

With that ambition in mind, TerSpegelt entered into discussions with Swedice. The desire to add something distinctive to the park formed the starting point of an intensive collaboration, in which step by step work was done on the idea that would eventually grow into the Modi Funtower: a tower construction with a large family slide, two jump slides and free falls at various heights. <\/p>\n\n

Swedice was closely involved in the process from the beginning. Not only as a builder, but as a partner who contributed ideas about every step: from concept and layout to execution and coordination. That collaboration felt familiar to TerSpegelt. There was room for consultation, for adjustments, and for choices that went beyond just the construction. Issues such as usage, safety and future maintenance were also discussed together. The final setup of the Funtower was completely tailored to the environment: fitting the available space, the sight lines in the park and the desire to be able to expand easily in the future. <\/p>\n\n

Since the opening, the attraction has proven to do exactly what was expected of it. The family slide is extremely popular, even with parents. Children keep jumping, climbing and sliding \u2013 time and time again, day after day. The different heights of the free falls allow children to push their boundaries: they start small and dare to do more and more. Parents actively participate. And because the attraction is visible from far away, even from across the water, it immediately attracts the attention of families exploring the park. <\/p>\n\n

The Modi Funtower operates on block times, so it can be easily combined with other activities in the park. Staff working at the attraction then rotate to other positions. This keeps it manageable and fun for the team. <\/p>\n\n

For TerSpegelt, the Modi Funtower is more than just an attraction. It is a thoughtful addition that surprises guests, challenges them and makes them come back. “We chose something that we felt suited us. And it works. It has really become our own thing.”<\/p>\n\n
